My husband, my children, my family, my friends, work, my time alone with Jim, vanilla ice cream, traveling, talking to my mom, laughing with my children, chatting with dad, having lunch with friends, memories of childhood, my relationship with my siblings Carlos and Martha, Friday nights at home, my time alone with my daughter, playing with my son, ……and trying always to keep in mind what I read once:

Wow, Time Flies!

I can’t believe it’s been this long since my last entry, so much has happened since; Alex is finishing his second college semester and Carolina is back from New Jersey to be here a year!

Alex has settled in college very well! I think this boy was born to be in college. The change that I have seen in him is amazing and we couldn’t be prouder. He started college last year with English as his major and has recently changed it to Political Science. I hope he has found ‘his passion’.

Cupcakes

Late Saturday afternoon Carolina had been invited to a birthday party and she asked me to go with her. I always enjoy time with my baby, so no brainer I agreed to go. However, we weren’t’ sure exactly what dish to bring,…potato salad? Devil eggs? Salad?  But then it occurs to us; Hmm what about yummy cupcakes?? Everyone loves cupcakes ….maybe it’s just me that loves baking and frosting cupcakes!

Year In Review

Whew…holidays are over! Now I go into my usual ‘holiday blues’ period.  You have to understand; I love Holidays, Christmas songs, sweaters, the smell of fresh baked apple pie, and that gentle chill weather that seems to last about 3 minutes in Florida!…I spend the whole Fall season waiting for the Holidays and once it gets here-it’s gone in a second!
